Super Quick Carbonara

carbonara-smallA delicious restaurant quality meal made at home.

Serves 4

Ingredients

500g egg pasta
2 rindless bacon midshorts
1 knob of butter
1 cup of cream
1 tbl olive oil
½ cup of parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic, crushed
Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Method

1.    Bring a pot of water to boil and put pasta in
2.    Melt butter in a fry pan.
3.    Add bacon and cook until lightly brown
4.    Add cream and mix through, reduce heat
5.    Drain pasta and place in cream sauce, turn off heat
6.    Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mix through
7.    Garnish with freshly chopped parsley
