Vegemite With A Twist

As soon as the lid pops open on the jar, you can tell that something is different. It looks smoother, creamier and lighter than traditional vegemite. The smell test doesn’t give anything away. Still the same powerful aroma that just about knocks your socks off.
Spread it on your toast and you can feel the velvetiness. And the first bite – it’s the vegemite that you know and love, but different. No need for butter here. This vegemite is creamier than the original. It’s still rich, but somehow softer.
Well I like it, but then I move on to the toughest food critic I know. She takes a bite and chews for a few seconds, really trying to experience the full flavor. She has a thoughtful look on her face. I hold my breath in anticipation of her verdict. Then one word – “more” – and I breathe a sigh of relief. My two year old daughter approves.
Try it for yourself. It really is a deliciously different vegemite experience.

They said it was too salty. That was during WW2. Now that a yank soup company owns Vegimite they want to change it to suite their pallet.
Well some advice, leave it alone. Its an Aussie taste and we dont need any overseas interference.
It’s just Vegemite mixed with cream cheese have a look at back of the two jars!
