How to Get The Best Deal
1. Do your homework
Research, research, research. Use the internet to your advantage to find out the best possible price for the product.
2. Price match
Most large stores have price match policies. Once you have found the best price, get your closest store to match, or even beat the price.
3. Negotiate
Expensive products or services are generally negotiable. If the store that you were going to purchase from won’t negotiate, find one that will.
4. Let your fingers do the walking
Before you even leave your home, call several stores to find out their best price. It’s cheaper to make a phone call than pay for petrol to drive around.
5. Don’t be afraid to ask
For a discount, free delivery, bonus items, or anything else you can think of. The worst thing you’ll get is a “no”.
6. Remember that services are negotiable too
Painters, plumbers & electricians are all open to negotiation, as are services such as insurance.
7. Talk to others
Ask other people if they know of any specials. The BShare forum is a great place to do this as you are instantly connected with thousands of other likeminded bargain hunters.
